DG bags on the airplane

You guys ever taken your bag on to the plane before? Im going to LA for a week in July and my friend said hed take me to a few courses. Curious to know if my Fade Tourney would qualify for a carry on.

I think if you took a few unneeded discs out it would. they only care that it fits in that tiny cube.

i just put mine in my duffle bag when i traveled, i do have a pretty big duffle bag though.....

At the moment I only carry 13 discs haha so the bag isnt filled to capacity

when i went home to michigan, i took my dual pack as my carry on and it was just fine. I have seen Paige Peirce put a pic on her Twitter of i believe Devan and maybe Ricky with their Grip Eq bags on the walkway to the plane

I took my Fade Tourney as a carry on to Charlotte last winter. No problems at all. I was a little worried though because just as I got to the security line I noticed the embroidery on the side of the bag said "Fly or Die". Woops.

I flew with my buddy and he went through security about a half hour before me. He said they emptied out his Revo Carolina bag, asked him about the contents, then ran everything through the x-ray again individually and made him put it all back into his bag. A bit more of a pain for him.

There is no disc golf bag that's too big to be a carry on. You'll have no problem. I've flown with my discs many times. And will again in two weeks.

Yes you can. I travel with my grip bag. They search it every time. The security guards asked me if I was carrying plates one timme. Then they wiped them down with a cloth. Tall white guy from minnesota carrying plates. Get em.

Talk about D bags on a plane ...

This one time, I had to fly out on business, and the firm partner had super double secret elite status, so we got bumped to first class.

Next thing I know, we were sitting on the runway waiting to take off, and I kept expecting for all the rumored free drinks to start coming my way ... but they never did.

Anyway, this big fat guy with white hair was sitting across the aisle from me, and he was wearing this blue suit with gold embroidery that almost made it look like a naval officer's uniform. He had his cell phone out and he was having phone sex with somebody ... and it just went on on on and he was so loud and nasty.

And then when we started to take off, he was finally off the phone and trying to sleep, but this lady in the back of first class had a baby that started to cry. So without turning around, he yelled, "SHUT THAT BRAT UP!!!"

At that point I was trying really hard not to jump across the aisle and find out what his brains looked like. But then he went to sleep.

Slept like an effin' baby too.
