Points
Ace/Eagle: 5 points
Birdie: 2 points
Metal Hit: 1 point

Scoring Examples:

Example 1: A par 3. Your drive hits the basket but does not go in. You drain your birdie putt. You earn three points: 1 point for the metal hit on the drive, 2 points for the birdie.

Example 2: A par 3. Your drive goes way left and lands 150 feet away. Your 2nd shot is straight but low and hits the post. You earn one point and there is no need to putt out.

Example 3: A par 4. On your fourth shot, you tickle the chains and do not go in the basket. You get zero points since the shot that hit chains was not for birdie or better. As it turns out, there was actually no need to even throw the fourth shot, except for funsies.

Example 4: you park a Par 3. The wind picks up and your putt hits the chastity belt. You're awarded a point?

The only way to find out is if you sign up and play in the event.

That would be a no, based on this: You get 1 less throw then par, so for Oak grove each hole you only get 2 throws. This is why it is called a "birdie bash" it is to see who can get the most birdies.

I believe this would be the same as blowing your tee shot and hitting the pole from 150'. It's worth one point.

As long as you hit the pole on one of your two shots and or any medal for that matter then yes you would be awarded a point. Anything after 2 shots on any basket at Oak Groove, isn't going to matter as it's a par 54 course, playing it normal.

Only 34 more days to sign up for the Vibram BIrdie Bash (VBB) at War Memorial Disc Golf Course. This means 40 days until the VBB. Lets make this a strong 4 weeks and double the amount of sign ups we currently have.

You CANNOT beat the price for 2 Discs, a t-shirt shirt, and a ton of fun.
Let your friends know this is more of "FUN" tournament than anything else.

Be sure to sign up early so you can pick the exact discs you want.
I will have a LIMITED number of player packs on the day of the event with limited shirt sizes. You will get an Ibex and Ridge if you register on the day of or after the 28th of April.
