Like everyone else - Black is more distinct and easier on the eyes.

Black type on a yellow background provides maximum contrast for short, high-impact messages and catches the human eye the best of any other combination of colors-- think back to many of the old 1950's marketing which were black & yellow and still in use today.. its not an accident most traffic signs are yellow and black in areas where they are to be noticed the most.

Someone has to be difficult, so I'll say navy lettering would be as easy to read as the black, and look cooler. Otherwise, black for sure.
