PD, Challenger, Challenger putt. Seems unlikely to get a deuce even if I could actually reach that distance in a single throw.

This is my home course.
Most of you are playing conservatively, which I can respect, but the fairway is wide enough to throw something fast on a flat line, so most players just try to bomb a wraith/boss/destroyer out of the woods as far as they can. If you make it past the big tree you're happy. (granted, hit something on either side of fairway and you add a stroke automatically) For the approach there are two schools: Slow disc (mid or putter) on a big hyzer, or low Skip shot with something overstable under the guardian limbs. Excellent hole. |

I am going to go with a KC Pro Roc from either tee until I putt

The elevation makes this hole play quite a bit longer than the listed distance. It's a true par 4, even a good tee shot is going to leave you with a 125'-225' uphill approach with two guardian trees and OB to the left. The tee shot favors leftys but the approach favors rightys.
From the long tee RHBH shots need to be turning over a little bit as they hit the gap, if the shot fades to the left you'll be blocked from going at the pin and have to settle for a 4. From the short tee it is possible to get far enough out to be in the open if you fade hard to the left but for most players fading to the left is still going to be trouble. |

Someone just linked this to our club's page, so I feel like you can expect a few of us who play it regularly to weigh in as well (Case in point, Rockwell and NicedGuy).
Now, I don't have a huge arm (350' on a great day), but I can definitely reach it in 3 from the short tee. Star Beast off the tee, into an ESP Buzzz or Star Teebird, depending on how far I have left to go, on a wider hyzer to get around the last tree, and finish it up with an R-Pro Rhyno. Long Tee I start with the same Beast, but get myself into trouble more often than not, so I throw my Teebird on a forehand roller to get it more or less into the same region I'd be putting from if I had thrown from the short tees. Either way, it's a fun hole, and I hate longer uphill holes like this. |
