Same Store?

I was recently looking for some new discs on line and noticed something - disc golf store & disc nation have VERY similar web designs and even the same available disc weight/color combinations.

Are they actually the same company?

Pretty sure they operate out of different store fronts:

DG Store in Orlando, FL
Disc Nation out of Austin,Texas

Maybe they hired same web designer/ hosting service?
Maybe one copied the other's format cause it works well and people are used to it?

Yep, Disc Nation bought out a bunch of online stores a while ago.
I will support the smaller online retailers like Mst and Volo.

That's what I thought! I can see copying web designs or using the same web designer. But to have the exactly the same color & weights combo disc available seemed a little odd.

hmmm...

I will continue to support my local dealers at The Throw Shop and Up in the Air, but I realize that some people don't have decent disc golf shops near them.

My reason for doing so is that these retailers make disc golf events and courses happen in the communities around here. I really don't care if they have somewhat self-serving reasons for doing so - it's not a crime to earn a living. These folks opened stores 'cause they genuinely love the game, and it shows. I have no problem with them trying to eek out a viable living from the sport. Hell, most of us wish we could.

disc nation and prime discs are the same. Same inventory. one has slightly better shipping but higher disc prices. But their inventory and navigation is exactly the same.

As a local Mobile retailer, I haven't made a "Viable Living" doing this. I hope I can break even this Year.
