The Pain-ful Thread

All things Pain related. Discuss.

My Opto Pain is beating into one fine overstable mid. The Pain and Fuse combo is working swimmingly, I had reservations on whether I'd need something b/w the two like a Buzzz, MD2, Qms, or Nebula, but I don't think I will.

My GL Pain is still a little piggy but still fairly manageable. And of course, it's still purdy.

I am using pain/cobra tandem now.

Pain is $ except when there's low canopy...sometimes it's hard to keep them low.

Yes, they do like their height to do their magic. I will agree with you there.

The Pain/Core combo has replaced all those Rocs in my bag.
Pain is stable yes, but lines can be worked.
With the Core I can do anything.

I show lots of peeps the Pain and they immediately say, "Oh, it's a Roc."

Similar? Yes
The same? No

One of the biggest differences is that the Pain isn't going to break in all quick and force me to carry several of them. I also won't have to purchase a bunch when one gets "too broken in."

Unless something amazing comes out, the Pain is going to be my stable to overstable mid forever.

Possibly, but way down the road. These things are really durable and I don't see them "breaking in" too quickly.
Get a Core if you want a "dead straight" thrower.

I threw Rocs for years, and while I'm no pro, I fully believe that if you try a Pain out, you'll love it!

I have a brand new Gold Line Pain in my car. Really looking forward to trying it out. Three more hours of driving before I make my DG stop...
