I like Disc Caddy 2 but it's the only one I've used so I can't say how it compares. It keeps hole by hole stats and all that stuff. You can send a picture of your scorecard by text from it. You can also import courses from here which is handy. There are a few features I wish it had: hole distance (this changes often for many courses so it might not be all that useful), the ability to show that you had TWO penalty strokes on a hole (you can only mark 1), when you play doubles or have a large group the entire names don't show up on the screen.

now ... to answer the question, I use a couple but haven't tried them all.

I like disc caddy and have used disc golf ace (catchy name) and they are both functional. When I use one now it's the Disc Caddy.


P.S.

If you go to the "advanced search" feature and tell it to "search titles only" then put "phone app" in the search box, it will actually pull up a few threads you can check out on the subject as well to get some more opinions.

Exactly...

To sort of answer your question, Disc Caddy 2 is the only app right now that can import data from DGCR. So far no apps have made use of the ability to submit scores to the site which would be very cool.

- I prefer disc golf companion. easier to read out on the courae, and ive bought and doenloaded them all, and chose which one worked the best for me.
