Baby, I'm sorry but it's over.

The first disc I ever got was a 169 z-line Avenger SS. We had some great times until a tree ate her. I got another 169 Avenger SS and picked up right where I left off with the other one. That mold has been with me since the beginning but last night I finally took her out of the bag.

It just wasn't fair to her to keep leading her on like that. Making her just sit there waiting for a chance and having to watch me constantly pass her over for my hot new girl, the Fury. Or the River. Hell, even that slut, the 150 Mamba gets felt up more but she is such easy anhyzer distance I can't resist. The last straw the the new Amp I got. She fades back after the turn and that's all you had left to give me.

So, Avenger SS. I'll always remember you. It hurts but I'm sorry.

It's over.

Hit me up man, I got one you can trade me for!

I too used to throw the Avenger SS, very controllable hyzerflip disc.
Then I started trying other discs, you know the story, the Avenger just lost it's spot in the bag.

I don't want to trade her. I still like having her as a backup, you know just in case.

The Fury really replaced it. The River does a nice anny but I use it more for easy line drives with a small fade at the end. The 150 Mamba is for monster anny bombs but needs some room to work. The Amp I just got and goes straight forever. Some overlap with the river but the Amp is much more stable and has a great fade back on an anny shot.

I use 17 discs in my bag and while I could get away with less than 10 it's just more fun with a few more discs that I just enjoy throwing.

The SS is a great hyzerflip disc but the Fury does it 10 times better, doesn't fade out on the anny and has more glide so it goes 25-40 feet farther on the same power throw. Love the opto plastic better than z-line too.

I still bag a regular Avenger but if some other discs I have were better in the wind it might be a casualty too.

We will leave that "normal" part of the statement out of this, but I found that I have progressed more toward understable discs in the last two years. I used to power TeeBirds, Predators, etc and so forth for straight shots, but ever since the 12x TeeBirds have become monster beefcakes, I am throwing more and more Leopards, Roadrunners, Mambas, and TLs. I still carry the newer TeeBirds, but they do not see as many shots in the woods anymore. They are more for semi-open field placement shots.

Of course I still need some stability in my big boy drivers.
