Destrulcan vaccine may have been found...

We are all too familiar with the debilitating Destrulcan disorder that has plagued so many young Star Destroyers who would have otherwise enjoyed healthy, productive lives.

At its peak, the Destrulcan disease was so pervasive that many owners of healthy Destroyers would not let people with Destrulcans get near their discs, fearing the disease may be communicable and could pass to otherwise healthy Destroyers.

But the good news is it appears a vaccine may have been found and recent releases of Star Destroyers are not showing any symptoms.

I would like to thank the medical community and everybody involved in this long fight to find a cure.

And no, I do not think Destrulcans will become collector items and go up in value, not when Destrulcans are referred to as Destroyers with herpes.

My PIA here in town still has some of these. I feel bad for the folks who thought they were getting a destroyer off line and got one of these glide-less turds instead. I have vulcan top paranoia now. Never know what innova will do next.

I've seen the newer runs domey and flat at my Dick's. Bought a flatter red 170 it is marked weird though the AJ stamp and the destroyer stamp are two different colors it is marked *ds i think.

Pretty much. If you have doubts, hold up a vulcan to it. The top is clearly like you described.

ummm.....the destrulcans (teedevils) are old news. they fixed that issue in 2010 and runs since then have been fine. your local store must have finally restocked.

There are others ways to tell, but that is the obvious one.

Hopefully Notroman sees this thread.......He organizes his destroyers by the plh (I think he has his masters in the topic)

He may have more insight in how to exactly identify the destrulcans that do not have that "noticeable" shoulder.

As a destroyer thrower myself, I will say that the newer runs are definitely an improvement, but I have yet to see any flatter ones. The newer ones seems to be pretty domey and stable......Nothing like the flippy *d's. IMO
