I got a chance to throw my brand new 170 flat red Tangent today, in pretty calm conditions. It is not as forgiving as the Axis, and on a couple throws I torqued it a bit too much and it didn't come back. The fade is more subtle than the Axis as well. I had a couple sweet 200 foot approaches with it, and once I give it a better work out, I'll see if it'll stay in the bag.

Keep on working with it. Someone said at one point it's a longer Pure and it's very much that. Put it on a line and it'll keep that line. It's not going to fade back on an anny and it's not going to give you more than a gentle, very gentle fade on a hyzer. It's a point and shoot disc, plain and simple.

I only tried a hyzer line for one throw, thinking it would flip up and ride flat. To my surprise it rode the hyzer all the way, on a 150' throw. I think it would have flipped more on a longer throw. I plan on playing a one disc round next time, to test it even better. You guys are right, it does putt well too.

I was also suprised by this. So I tried getting some air underneath it and it still held the hyzer-line. For me, and again, take this for what it's worth because I'm hardly and advanced level player, to get that good hyzer-flip laser beam I had to throw it with just a touch of a hyzer on a really tight, low line. WHen I did that, it went super-straight with almost no fade...maybe a foot or two, dead serious. It also came to rest nice and flat with no skippage.

One of the big strengths for this disc is that it doesn't "auger in" when it comes to the ground, even on anhyzer or hyzer. I wouldn't try to use this for a hyzer spike...it will land flat everytime even on the steepest of hyzer angles.
