If you could draw the flight of a thumber...

What would it look like? How would you describe it in words?
AKA, how would you describe it without holding a disc or flying your hand like an airplane?

Draw an X.

With a right handed tomahawk, slash down from left to right, and the disc fades back and completes the X from right to left.

It flies a bit different if you throw it higher......... finishes upside-down to the right.

Otherwise the above graphic is pretty accurate.

Thumb-trac

Hole #6 at Richmond Hill is a good place to see a thumber in action:

This pin position is downhill & slightly to the right. Perfect for a Thumber!
You gotta give it a good heave. The disc leaves the hand upside down & turns over at it's apex (to the right) & drops straight down like a knife! The only issue could be a possible hard bounce on landing & the consequent roll away because of the downhill angled landing found at this particular hole.

I have hit a person before, but i did yell four. they looked at me like i was crazy until my disc plowed him in the head. if you are the guy i hit and you are reading this, sorry again. but you are an absolute idiot and deserved to get hit

I like throwing an understable disc thumber line-drive down tunnel shots with ob on both sides. there's no fade and it does a nice tight barrel roll.
