Charlotte Park and Rec Youth League

Check out this web page for Charlotte's new youth league. Move over basketball and soccer, there's a new game in town. Our park dept is also advertising with really cool banners at some of the courses.

Getting Local Parks & Rec dept behind youth leagues sounds like a great way to grow the sport. Hope it goes well!

I'll help at veteran's park.

I helped Cornelius and Huntersville/Davidson run a youth camp last year 1 Week Bailey, 1 Week Bradford. Made some good money for the club (paid for the 2 new holes) and club members I paid to teach the kids ~$10/hr.

We are doing 2 weeks again this year June and July. Amazing what parents will pay to get rid of their kids for 4 hrs for a week :-). I hope this turns into more local courses.

We, the Charlotte Disc Golf Club, have offered to assist with volunteers when MCPR holds a clinic for beginners. Kramer will send out email balsts for volunteers to club members when those clinics are scheduled. Other than that, this is park planned and park run. Crossing our fingers for a successful first season.
