Must play courses around McKinney TX?

I will be in McKinney TX next week. Can anyone recommend the best courses to play in the area? Lake Lewisville looks interesting.

This is my stomping grounds,, I'm a local at both McKinney and Lewisville. I can give you good info if you give me an idea of what you are looking for. What free time do you have? How far do you want to drive? Do you want to play local minis?

Lake Lewisville is fun and playable after heavy rain. LL Woods near Lake Lewisville isn't anything special.

Alex Clark is a fun pit'n'putt in McKinney and you can normally get a round in very quickly. However if it has been raining it can get very muddy.

Towne Lake in McKinney is a great course, watch for snakes, it can get overgrown at times, it can get muddy in places after a rain.

Towne Lake or Lake Lewisville are definates. A nice enjoyable scenic round, Lake Lewisville. Want to test your skills on a wooded and challenging course, Towne Lake. You just can't go wrong with these. Enjoy.

I will be working until 5:00pm M-Thur. My home course is Tye F. Cunningham in Edmond, ok. The course is very wooded and very technical. I will be staying in Allen TX and working in McKinney for the week. Hopefully I can get out to one of the courses in McKinney directly after work, most likely on Tuesday evening.

Unless you were going to play in the dark, Lake Lewisville is out. If you want an easy round with a roc n' putter that is the Alex Clark, Wed night mini @ 6. Towne Lake is a good course.. I recently took some time to write a review.
