Denison Park Tee Signs

I am creating some tee signs for my local park and wanted some opions. Here is the first one, any feedback is welcome. Original file is much larger so this is compressed for obvious reasons. Thanks!

They look nice but the red on green lettering doesn't show up all that well. I'd change it to black. Just my opinion. Otherwise they're very nice.

It seems very bright on bright, it needs more variation in color to be easily visible to all.

You could make a white box for the distances and lettering, that will give you a cleaner look and better contrast.

I agree with the white box around the distances. I personally don't like the different texture on the roads (just make them grey), its too much of a distraction. I would do the O.B. notations in a smaller text that is less dominant i.e. a grey or black, and I would personally move the O.B. notations right next to the O.B. areas so there would be no confusions at all.

Thanks for the prompt replies. I agree about the text and the contrast. Great point about color blind people I actually have a good friend who is green/red color blind! The road is like that because it is O.B., I will make sure to make note of that. I will tweak it when I get some time today(after I golf!) and post updates. Also I have considered leaving Blue Tees off the signs because they do not have proper pads and only locals who already know where they are will probably be able to find them even when marked on the sign. Also from the Red tees it is always O.B. when you cross the road but there are lots of Blue tees that make you cross the road(public park) and safety-wise it makes me want to leave the Blues off too. Let me know what you guuys think about that.

Not this guy:

A coworker asked what I thought about painting a green wall blue. After going back and forth for a few minutes I ended with, "What do I know, I'm blue/green color blind." He just turned around and walked away.

Much better, I wonder if the hole number would stand out from a distance a little better if it were a solid color rather than just an outline, it's always nice to see what tee number a sign is for without walking right up to it.
