Hornets

I searched but I suck at searching.

Curious to know how much headwind a hornet can take in comparison to a buzzz, shark, wasp, and drone. I own a 175 hornet, and I haven't thrown it in a long time. I used to throw it but I sucked really bad back then. Now I'm okay lol.

Just curious since I haven't thrown it in months.

Sidenote and unrelated note - I smoothed my drives out, I wasn't doing a full pullback.

Beefier than a Wasp, less than a Drone.

So I'm guessing the headwind-handling is between them as well.

I'd say it's more OS than a Buzzz and a Shark for sure. It's somewhere in between a Wasp and a Drone in terms of wind fighting ability. It's got a lot of glide for a disc that is so OS. I'd rate it 5, 5, 0, 4.

It will hold up better than everything but the Drone in the wind. I haven't thrown one in a couple years, but I remember it being a fast mid and very reliable.

Yeah, I thought someone said it doesn't handle wind well... But that was a while ago. I'm not too fond of the drones grip (atleast the LE Z drones new and older) but the hornet feels okay.

Hornet handles headwinds with ease. I use it for that purpose; it's my mid for headwinds.

I agree with the above, but I have to ask, if you have one, why don't you just throw it into a headwind and find out?

Because it's night time and it's on my mind. Also, I got a tournament saturday, I don't want to waste bagspace for fieldwork tomorrow in the wind lol.

Stuff eats at my mind, I don't see the issue with asking on a forum :P

I understand, but I was just sitting here thinking to myself, "if he owns it, shouldn't he just throw it?" Haha.
