Power grip just like everything else. I loosen the grip for approaches, but for drives I grip and throw every disc, from my flippiest Aviar to my Boss, the same

I use a power grip on drives and approaches with mids and putters. But my grip is much more loosened with putters. Really only my fingertips and thumb are touching the disc.

For my approach shot and drives with a putter (KC Aviar) I use a power grip with the thumb near the edge of the disc and with even pressure on the thumb (not with a thumb pointing down or arching up). I point my throwing arm at the target then set my front foot at a 45 degree and my other the same but staggered. I make sure my feet are planted. I keep my elbow close to the body and imagine playing catch with someone and following thru.

I use my normal fh and bh grips with putters ups and drives. Two fingers stacked with the side of my middle finger along the inner rim for fh, standard four finger power grip backhand. Same amount of power into the throw, footwork etc.

I throw putters FH, but not with my conventional FH grip, I use the old school frisbee thumb throw. It's basically point and shoot, wherever my thumb is aiming when I release is where the disc goes.

I fan grip my APX's for approaches and drives. It's all about the angle and power to make them go where you want them too.

But I'm a terrible BH Approach player. So I FH my putters for approaches, same grip as everything else. 2 fingers.

Not a power grip! I throw mine like a more powerful shot with an Ultrastar, J-Star, or Rattler.

I believe that being able to control your spin is essential for throwing putters with distance control.

I don't change my grip until I'm putting. Cannon, XL, Comet, Wizard, ... all the same grip.

I throw my putters short and straight. I need to work on that first part. Power grip off tee or from anywhere around 200'. Fan grip for short approaches of less than 100'.

I throw power grip for driving and a fan grip for shorter approaches.
