My Manala (Finnish print) turns pretty hard right (rhbh) if I fail to launch it with enough hyzer, but I really have to be careful because, if given enough height, it fades hard left at the end of its flight, rather than tracking right all the way down (unlike my Fury).

I don't own one,but I have thrown my buddies before and it is pretty sweet.

It is one heck of a Rolling disc. I can roll this thing for days.

Love my Manala. Just not in the wind. Not even a tailwind. Wind around here doesn't just come from one direction at a time so there's no telling where that thing is going. But when it's calm just put a little hyzer on it and it just keeps tracking right and glides for days before it fades back to straight. Definitely a specialty disc.

how does an underworld compare to a lightweight star leopard? I got a 165 that's fairly flippy, but with good form can go very straight either as hyzer flip or softer flat release.

An underworld is 10x better.

It is a very controllable turnover disc. Even though I have thrown mainly rollers with my buddies Underworld I have thrown it a few times backhand and it is very sweet.

You will like it very much man. Especially the part about how comfortable it is in the hand.

Love my Underworld. I have a 175 VIP. I'm a backhand bomber and have a weak forehand so I need a disc that I can get to ride right every time. This is it. It's crazy understable. I can rip it on an extreme hyzer flip and it will pop up, roll right and just keep on a line. It's saved me a ton of strokes on dog lake right holes. Also as a cut roller it's money. Just throw it hard and flat and watch this sucker cut to the ground and roll.

Necro! Which is appropriate for this disc!

Just got a 168g TP underworld yesterday from the marketplace (thanks LoPan). Didn't get a chance to throw it, but I'm gonna test it out after work today thoroughly. Gonna do a 2 disc round with just this and a warship. I'm very excited for this disc, it sounds like just what I want, a good turnover, hyzer flip machine for a player of lower arm speed.

How is this disc doing for everyone? I don't see much chatter for it lately.

I love the Underworld, it's one of the most important discs in my bag. I love it for powered down laser hyzer flips in the woods, full power hyzer flip to late turnover and sweeping anhyzers. The glide is INSANE. Very easy distance for a noodle like me. It doesn't work in the wind tho

I had a nice bright pink Manala (Finnish: Underworld) that was my go-to disc for that sweeping right turning shot (rhbh) that needed to turn in to a wooded gap in the 270-330 foot range. Loved that disc. Lost it at BG Ams this year, and of course, never returned. I have a yellow backup (also the Finnish stamp), but it never filled the same spot in my bag (or my heart), because I haven't hit enough trees with it yet to wear into that sweet turnover disc I need.

Sounds like it's time for an Underworld round or two at Idlewild then...
