if cali guys aren't inspired to travel...and possibly others. is the field going to be as strong as it could? i guess not. maybe not in any case.

what would you guys say is the ideal location for am worlds in terms of bringing the best possible field?

Well, based on previous attendance. An awful lot of players live within an 8-10 hour drive.

Or maybe Milwaukee. We'll see next year.

But if I had to make a wild guess at the Worlds-class location with the greatest number of players within a day's drive, I'd guess somewhere in Pennsylvania. Fairly convenient to the Southeast and Midwest.

The Californians are stuck with geography. Anything close to them, is going to be a long way for everyone east of the Rockies.

Yes.

Also, I think the Worlds will be attended well. I also think it will sell out, but probably not for a few weeks.

There is a considerable player pool in the DFW area, just 7 hours south. Kansas City has a significant pool, as does Oklahoma City and parts of Iowa and St. Louis.

Don't forget the huge contingent of disc golfers in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio - all of which is a 10-12 hour drive from Emporia.

Same with Colorado. Only a 8 hour drive from Denver so I'm sure plenty will be going from here.
