Help with "Snap"

I'm writing a paper on snap, and I'm sure I'll get docked for not having any references. I want to find a quote that I'm fairly certain I've seen somewhere. It's something like "Snap is the difference between throwing a Teebird 350' and 450'."

I thought it was on DGR, but I've searched to no avail at this point.

I'm basically BSing the whole thing, so if anyone wants to read/critique it, I can post it. Don't expect to have an "aha" moment reading it, though.

If anyone can help me find that quote, though, many internetz to you.

That might help if I were trying to achieve snap. I'm just trying to cite 1 or 2 definitions of snap from a couple sources.

Williams? Link?

It wasn't in the More Snap Part 1 by Brad Walker. I didn't finish part 2 before class.

Brad's vids will help but I'm 99% that the "difference" quote you are looking for was by Blake...likely in the technique section...possibly in Brad's snap 2009 thread

Yeah, that sounds like a Blake quote. Check DGR's instructional articles; it might be there.

Yep. Pretty sure that would be a good source.

Scott Papa over at Discraft might be another source.
