Disc Golf backpack for less than $20.00

So my wife drug me to the thrift shop the other day. I found this Boombah on the shelf for $6.99. They have great padding for the straps and back, and best of all a bottom zipper pocket. So I bought the sucker! And it doesn't smell like R Kelly's sheets.....

This is after I got home and put some discs in it.

Then I went to the local sign shop and got some scrap corrugated sign material for free and made a box (and top brace for putter pouch).

Then went to the local head shop and got a big patch to cover the "B" and ironed on a Roc patch I had laying around. (Peace patch $12.00)

And walla! Disc golf backpack!
My wife suggested the small lip at the bottom of the box so the discs wouldn't all roll out. Works like a charm! Played 18 holes yesterday on a hilly course and no yard sales, nothing even attempted to jump out.

BTW you can buy these bags for $50 online, and I'm gonna use the side bat pockets for a chair and an umbrella.

Thumbs up

Nice find! I keep wanting a backpack bag myself, but my Revolution bag is just in too good of shape to justify spending more money on a bag right now. I have been checking out the thrift stores too, just no luck yet.

Great looking bag there!

I think you currently own the best disc golf bag for the money on the market. Nice find. How many discs does it hold?

$34.99 on their site right now. Would make one, but figured out the hard way that I just don't like backpacks for disc golf.
