The brand name is "Gardenline". However, the packaging indicates that this is an Aldi exclusive brand.

The one in this link http://sell.lulusoso.com/selling-lea...lla-Light.html from discreid (found above) DO look exactly the same. I would still be careful about those and maybe only order 1 of them to make sure the quality is the same.

I've seen "solar" versions, but those were at the Lowes and Home Depots of the world and were about $50 - $60 each. Given that, the batteries in mine have lasted so long, I don't see the benefit in Solar.

Glad this is helping some folks.

Remember my warning:

WARNING!!!

I have tried several of the choices on Amazon and other sites trying to find more of the ones like this. THEY WERE ALL CRAP! The last one I tried, which I got from Amazon for $7 actually fell apart in my hands while trying to insert the batteries.

The ones from Aldi are great, of similar quality to the ones I've seen at Home Depot for $30

Again, DON'T BUY ANY OF THESE OFF AMAZON OR EBAY OR WHATEVER.

I've sent a message to Aldi asking them for information about how and when more of these can become available, explaining to them how it seems that many people are very interested in buying "large quantities" of them. I hope they reply and can do something to help those interested get ahold of them.

I hate to be the guy that waves a shiny treasure in front of everyone, asking them if they want some and then telling them they can't have it.

Keep looking though, I'm sure there are more out there somewhere.

Our course uses umbrella lights for the night rounds. Not sure what brand they are though, although I am pretty sure they arent Aldi brand. The ones we have are holding up really well.
