Stolen Basket in Lexington KY

Basket #18 at Shillito Park in Lexington was stolen last night on early this morning - Looks like someone also tried to take the practice basket but stripped the bolt and couldn't get it loose. Would appreciate any heads up on someone trying to sell a basket in the KY/OH/WV area.

Thanks,

Jerry Dobbins

That sucks. I play there 3 or 4 times a week. Probably someone going to sell it for scrap.

Email the scrapyards pictures of a basket. Then have them hold the people for the police.

This is becoming much too common lately. Perhaps we could electrify them like a farm fence. On the other hand, I can visualize former tweakers seated around such a basket, touching it every now and then, a methhead's version of Russian roulette.

lulx

On a serious note, I hope the basket is found and in good shape. Basket thieves have a special place in Hades...
