Disc for your companion?

I was just wondering what disc you all throw to your dog(s). Was planning on getting a "candy"(champion) superhero for my dog so my parents aren't going from disc to disc after he chews them up.

Also do they all seem to go the same or do some actually seem more overstable or anything. I may even buy a disc golf midrange just to use something that wont be so flippy for me.

Because I take my dog with me playing sometimes I have taught her not to like disc. However with my sisters dog I gave them a Champion Coyote I got from a Tournament. It works well because after over a year the disc has still held up, the dog normally goes through toys in 5 min, and also my sister is able to throw it pretty good. If you want your dog to catch it in the air definitely make sure you don't get a driver, that would hurt.

Yeah I wouldn't make him get a driver and i barely have the room in my yard(though a big yard) to throw a driver. I was thinking midrange so others in the family can throw it too and not have difficulties with it. Plus he's not good enough to catch in the air most of the time he wont even try if he has the chance, just likes to chase it down and retrieve it(eh what's a golden retriever for hmm).

I think i've got a champ coyote I'd be willing to just give you. As long as you pay for the shipping, it's all yours. PM me if you want it.

Yeah then a coyote would probably be a good choice. My sisters doesn't play disc golf at all and she can still throw it pretty good. My sister has a golden retriever too. I have a mix. Her is a picture of the dogs and the coyote I was talking about.

Here is a link to the dogs doing there best to destroy the Coyote I was talking about.

My schnauzer couldn't care less about discs, he just wants to pee on every cedar tree sapling in the vicinity.

well my dog doesn't go discing with me...after he's chased the frisbee as a game in our yard so much there's no way he wouldn't get mad not being able to chase one.

I cant see my dog not destroying any disc. Better off to buy a stack of the $1 frisbees in the pet section of Wal~Mart really. His game s you throw it, he fetches then tries to chew it as much as possible before you get up to him to fight for it, or for him to run further away for a couple more chomps.

Destroyed my Zephyr and Jaguar this way.
