Disc golf t-shirts, stickers & other merchandise at Zazzle

I am slowly building up some disc golf merchandise over at my Zazzle store.

I have a special Disc Golf merchandise section with some original disc golf t-shirt designs, disc golf stickers, disc golf bumper stickers and coffee & travel mugs.

Zazzle is a print-on-demand setup, so everything is handled by them. The prices are a bit higher than normal, but I have no control over that. The prices are at the default prices. I make almost nothing on the sales (unfortunately), really I just got them together so people could buy them if they wanted something different.

The designs I have up now are simple, clean & iconic designs with a stylized disc golf basket/pole hole icon. I thought maybe there were others like me out there that didn't want the squiggly/hippy/tie dye design type shirts.

Also, you can customize shirt/product colors and add text to some degree if that's your thing. If anyone has any ideas or something they'd like see -- especially a variation on the existing designs up there now -- let me know and I'll work 'em up for you.

If you look at the illustration work of mine that I have on the other Zazzle products in my store, note that coming soon will be a cartoon illustration disc golf shirt with a "Big Daddy" Roth/Odd Rods style character. I am just putting the finishing touches on it and it's looking really cool. A bit different than these current designs for sure. Should have it up by this weekend.

Thanks taxman. I have some ideas for actual discs too, but those would require convincing the manufacturers to go with my designs. Still, I am considering pursuing it.

I have always thought the graphics on most disc golf discs were a little generic/clip-art looking.

i think getting your picture on a disc would be easy. both innova and discraft have options where if you send in your picture they will put it on a disc. and the prices are very reasonable.

Unfortunately the minimums are kind of steep, like 100 discs.

However, working on artwork for the production discs would be very cool, and I have a proposal for some ideas that I have been working on here and there.

Innova's Full Color program is minimum of 25 discs. DX Rocs are $7 each + $40 initial setup. Shipping was around $12 for me.

Oops, I was looking at Discraft & Innova Hot Stamp quantities. Looks like color prints are 50 minimum with Discraft, and 25 min for Innova.

I'll throw this out there -- if people on the board are interested in making up some custom discs (printed or hot-stamped), let me know and I would be glad to work something up either based off of existing work or perhaps something new.

It seems the full-color disc printing needs to be on a white disc, but the hot stamped can be anything, and disc colors can be chosen. It's vague about whether you can mix & match models (with either print method), but I'll look into it. Seems like you can mix & match though; that would be ideal.

Let me know on the art, and on preferences for disc models.

Discraft is 25 minimum as well, the 50 was for Super Color (full edge-to-edge disc printing). Minimum 10 discs per model, Elite-X & Elite-Z plastic. Here's a chart for make/model availability in the various printing methods.

I have an email in to Innova, their site doesn't mention full-color minimums per disc model. I am guessing they will be the same or similar to Discraft though.

Innova full-color is limited to DX plastics.

Seems Discraft also lets you mix X & Z plastics within the model as well, with 5 disc minimum. So you could order the 10 minimum Surge discs, but choose 5 in Elite X and 5 in Elite Z.
