While I was at MILL it was explained to me that the company remained in Innova's good graces as a means to keep their hand in the pockets of players who didn't want to support the big giant. I do believe that MILL was founded and existed as a more experimental brand, being the first to market a premium plastic and a top-down logically simplistic lineup. The vision was muddied once all the original parties were out of the picture in 2010 or so. But the core of the brand was very different than Innova, and often at odds with Innova's approach. There were still only 8 models in the Millennium lineup as of 2009... that's as un-Innova as it gets.

There are still things I admire greatly about the old original Millennium. They're good folks who run it now but it's not the same vision.
Thanks for the info, it's greatly appreciated. Can you explain Discmania's connection to Innova?

The rival and patriot are a dangerously good pairing. Two of the best discs I have ever thrown. Likely could switch my key molds to rivals. Ghosts and clutches and be just fine.

I adore the rival. Such a glorious disc I'm amazing plastics.
I have been interested in trying the Patriot, Ghost, and Rival but my Mids and Fairways are covered. I'm not sure what I'm doing about distance Drivers and my putter situation is a mess lately..

The Ghost is a really good Mid, I highly recommend you give it a try. I've also heard great things about the Rival on DGCR & from friends.

The Buzzz/Vector/Tangent offer plenty. I want an OS mid like the Drone in my bag.. Ghost couldn't fill that slot.

If you want a disc like the Drone...why don't you just get a Drone?

Rivals are glorious. The icons came out crazy flat and are super workable. My favorite is a gold sparkle rival that is an exact copy of my old 11x CALs. The Patriot is everything I ever wanted a TL to be. Much more HSS but with a very mild finish.

Their legend line and sparkle line, while a little pricey, is my favorite plastic ever. It's grippy, durable and has amazing control.

I have to say I am currently smitten by Legacy Discs. I can thank Lion for that.

I think a poll like this is rather amusing. I am a Vibram addict and proud to admit it. Beyond making amazing and unique discs they are really pouring money back into the game more, or at least in more directed and intentional ways, than any other disc company out there. They will change this game and make it big. Now if only they could get others on board.

Honorable mentions to Dynamic Discs and Innova. Dynamic Discs is literally changing the way tournaments are run as far as quality is concerned. Innova continues to be the leader in supporting the drive to promote and educate youth in this sport. The Edge program is and can be the thing that supports the sport in the way it needs to be supported.

Isn't Vibram already much bigger than Innova as a company?
