He's in his mid 40's. The tour would wear him down.

More ratings misconceptions, nobody can produce any statistical evidence for either of those...

We're talking disc golf here, not the NFL. He might get a little tired, but with age comes experience and creativity. I hardly think he'd be worn out.

He's played in half the events that McBeth has played this year. And most of his Open events have been in his home state. It' not bad to say that the Champ would get worn down from a long touring season. It's logical. And he's not going to just run out and play more events to prove me wrong, or right.

If there is an example of a player Climo's age, who has a near equal rating, and tours all over the country like the top guys, I'd like to hear about him.

Perhaps. In MJ's case, he likes to stay local. That's awesome. He has said here that he doesn't get along with many of the other top pros. If he was stuck travelling all over, playing at unfamiliar courses with guys he didn't like, do you think he'd be rated as high? ???

I'm sure MJ cares more about having fun, than his rating anyway. The guy just loves to play disc golf.

Guys his age have FAMILIES. That is probably a huge reason.

So no, you won't find guys his age touring like that.

Yep. How old is his little one? 2?

Not all disc golfers have families.

Anyway, Climo and MJ are both kick *** disc golfers and probably awesome guys. I feel like my comments might seem offensive but that's not my intent. Shutting up now....

It may seem like a disadvantage at times only being able to throw 375' but if a player can do it more accurately than the guys throwing 500'+ than absolutely this is true, even today.
