Played 81[three 18s, three 9s] last Feb in MS in one day, cause it was the only time I'd get to play them. The most memorable? The last one--Ashe Lake[Brooklyn MS] handicapped 9---the driver walked onto the course with two discs and his keys in his hand, and promptly lost the keys. We had no flashlight, but finally found the keys over an hour later, in the dark with a lighter. Way in the country, no cell service, no other cars---and no more beer. The horror.

Last election day I was supposed to work polls. But having not gone to the required class, and the local board of elections already in some doo-doo, I decided to skip out and save everyone a potential headache. So instead I decided to course bag. 9 courses, and only 1 was a 9-hole.

Most I ever did in one day was 86 and I was wiped. All in WV - 2 rounds at the Yellow Course 1 round at the Black Course 1 round at Seth Burton and 1 round at Orange Crush. Black Course is the longest I ever played and Orange Crush is the hardest.

Just came up with a route across the north side of Indianapolis that would net 126 unique holes across 9 courses in only 70 minutes total driving. This has got to happen.

I played 100 holes of Hell in Las Vegas a couple months ago. That was a fun stretch.

126 holes a few months back. 3 rounds at El Dorado and 4 rounds on the back at La mirada.. Oh yeah that was pushing a double stroller with the kiddos!! Lots of water, snacks, and food for the kiddos in that beast of a stroller :-)

Courses like Renny are definitely not the way to play a ton of holes in a day.

When I was in Charlotte, we played Reedy, Sugaw, Kilborne, Eastway and Renny one day, that felt a lot longer than some of the days where we've played a lot more holes.

No doubt some courses take a lot more time and a lot more out of you, and Renny certainly qualifies - it truly is one of those epic courses. If I recall, the day we played Renny, we played Kilborne then Sugaw... can't imagine adding in two more courses.

One of my 72 hole days was playing all four courses at Lemon Lake - and while those courses are challenging, they aren't that physically demanding.

Another factor is obviously the weather. In the midwest, fall's definitely the best time of year to push it.
