LOST DISCS?????

JUST WONDERING HOW MANY DISCS PEOPLE HAVE LOST.

LOST MY FIRST ONE THE OTHER DAY JUST KIND OF FLICKED MY RAGING INFERNO AND IT WENT ABOUT 150' OVER A 4' FENCE AT THE ONLY OPENING IN THE TREES AND ABOUT 50' MORE FEET INTO A SWAMP. I CAN SEE IT BUT WOULD RATHER JUST SPEND THE MONEY TO BUY A NEW ONE THATS NOT WARPED FROM THE TIME I HIT A TREE 10' IN FRONT OF ME WITH FULL FORCE

And now at The Selden Arcade in The D'Art Center in Norfolk, Va. I think I have a 7 year old DeGault on my hands.

it's not warped... it's "seasoned"

i've lost a ton of discs. i loose fewer now than i used to. i'm not sure if that means i'm a better thrower or a better searcher.

DGCR doesn't have much granularity for discs disappearing (lost, stolen, traded, given away, etc.) and I track both mine and my girlfriend's discs on this site. Give that, here's the breakdown of my 88 currently "Lost" discs:
  • 8 - Traded for other discs
  • 13 - Given away to other players
  • 2 - Lost by friends
  • 13 - Lost by my girlfriend
  • 52 - I lost myself (the vast majority all on one course)
There are 13 other discs I currently have that were lost and have since been returned.

I've lost 4 or 5 since I started playing. I lost 3 of those within the first few months of playing. Since then Ive only lost 2. As Ive gotten better and started putting my shots in the fairway and not off in the woods or water Ive had less chances to lose a disc

Either way I would still guess that 52 is close to the most. And for that -- your very own action figure:

Been playing 4 years. I've lost 4 but found one of them downstream 2 years later so I've got 3 still in the lost category. One of them I forgot to pick up and remembered 3 holes later, Ran back but it was gone - Nice Maroon with White stamp 11x KC Banshee. Also lost a Star TeeRex at Riney B (This course collects plastic) and another KC Banshee at Shillito.

I lose discs all the time, usually in water. If I can't see the disc I usually don't go in after it. I have never thought to keep track of how many I lost.
