what about a 500 Foot Feild Ace, would you count that?

I don't see why not. An Ace is from the Tee to the Basket in one Shot, if they make a 50 foot hole it's still an ace.

...and those guys who haven't hit the 50 footer at Alexandria haven't had to face that gut checking throw needed to clear the water! (well, it's kind of the muddy hole end of the lake, but those of us who have hit it know the awesome feeling of accomplishment this one provided.)

...OK, not really.

If the tiki course counts at the grange/blockhouse then i got a 70 footer, the basket that is about 20 feet in the air with the net. Soft magnet.

if not, i got one in the ace race that was about 80 feet with the Zeppelin

straight up shortest ace was around 150 feet, hole 2 schumaker pond short/short medium ion.

As an eagle.

it's tough to say what makes a hole, but under 100' don't count for sure in my eyes. Ace races don't count for me unless it's a normal hole (not a temp hole) Temp holes count on full courses for tournament play, but just not short ace race temps.

If I feel good about a throw for ace? i'll count it. If it just feels dirty, i won't. but that's just me.

It really doesn't matter what you count or not. Ace counts, just like internet distance and internet putting %'s are all just so you can feel good about yourself when comparing to other golfers.

There's a 185 foot hole at a local course that I've aced 3 times. It's a natural righty hyzer angle and just the perfect distance to put a mid or a putter on a slight fade. I think it's my shortest:

this hole is listed as 145' with I believe 45' in elevation change making it play like a 15ft putt...anyway it was a sweet ace to hit, considering most people go flying by the hole.

I have two (2) 65' ACES.

Ferrell Park. South Carolina # 6 slightly downhill.

HCP DGC in Loomis, CA # 3

Both are legitimate first throws off the tee, although very short holes on elementary type courses.

Well, as regular as 1 out of 5 attempts or so.
Are you throwing this ACE putt from the tee? If it's your putt and you've already teed off, then it's for a birdie, or a par or a bogie or maybe an eagle or a double bogie, regardless of it's length.
