Hole 15, Fredericksen DGC, 150'....my first ace. Very tight, straight line to the basket.

My shortest aces were on such a stupid, short hole that I don't even count them for my personal ace tally, and they happened on consecutive rounds.

Old hole #1 at Vandalia, MI's underwhelming Dr. Lawless Park was 100' at most. I had my brand-new SE Soft Rhyno (still have it and 8 siblings :-) and canned it twice in a row. It's an upshot.

It was redesigned and it still sucks...

Shortest and Longest both fit in the same category in both threads. 269' and 275' ... something like that.

Somewhere around 30 to 40 feet. When you play skip a basket (teepad 1 to basket 2, etc) some holes are much longer some much shorter. Some of the short ones are putting range but not necessarily with any open line to the basket.

Players argue about what constitutes an "ace". Except for ace pool purposes I view an ace as a shot which starts at the teepad and finishes in a basket, irrespective of distance or difficulty. Of course some aces are more impressive than others.
