any idea what the hot rounds were for Ams?

Where were the course backups? (I'm guessing 2, 9, 11, 14, 18)

#2 was the worst. Especially since we started, played 1 short hole, then waited. #11 was pretty bad too. #9 was the only other one that, when my group arrived, there was another group still waiting to throw.

Saturday's round had ferocious winds, especially for throwing off the clifftops. Sunday some divisions who were scheduled to play long tees, played shorts instead (could have been all divisions....I was on the course by the time the Advanced division teed).

The five hour + rounds on Saturday had a lot to do with the 15-25 mph winds with gust of up to 30. Having shorter tee pads for the women's rec division could have helped some too.

We had a 4 group back up on hole 18 on Saturday. Players were losing their discs and then having to go back up and re-tee.

#11 2nd round for us. From the time we reached the tee, until we were able to throw was at least 25 minutes. From the time we reached the tee until we all putted out was almost 45 minutes.

Still, it's my favorite course to sit around and wait on. At least, when the weather's magnificent.

seems like there could be a lost disc provisional Drop Zone at the bottom of 18. Any shot lost to the course on that hole should simply require a stroke, and a throw from a drop zone from the basin. Could be used for both tees.

They instigated that very rule for Sunday. If your disc is lost or you just deem it unsafe/unplayable, you could take a penalty and play from drop zone. No more climbing back up hill to re-throw.
