I go to the Disc Golf Course! There is a big field you can practice on at Delaveaga, if you are there early enough in the morning. Only problem is its slightly sloped.

Other Places:
- SLV Junior High upper Soccer field, which is outside Black Mouse Disc Dolf course. 300 feet between Soccer goals.
- The Beach (tough runup there, but can make lines in the sand easy.

Soccer fields for just throwing, football fields for accurate measurement.

300' measuring tapes can be had for less than $25 in all the big box stores, and can be pulled hard enough to get true line distances, assuming the landscape allows.

I got one of these and love it. Not too expensive, great for measuring throws or hole length, and way more accurate than a wheel.

I have been using an expandable rolling measurer, then placing cones at 100-150-200-250 from home plate at a a local baseball field. The outfield fence measures at 282 from home-plate. I have been working on closest to cone- and then home runs. I just started hitting homers within the past month and a half. I take all of my discs out with me, so I get a lot of throws in before having to go retrieve discs- but I just use a big wrestling gear bag when I collect my discs.

Home Run discs are worth hopping the fence for. I am 36, but I still like hopping fences. I have found it to be the best place to go and throw.

If you have a local flag football league (adult), I've found the fields tend to be slapped into a much larger area, so you'll have a marked out area as well as extra space. I have trouble getting out on the local HS football fields, but the flag football fields rarely have traffic. Just another idea of a place with marked out distances.

Soccer fields. Distances are marked for me, its flat, wide open, manicured grass, & long. Also I bring a laser rangefinder.
