What's the best payment system for a small scale disc shop?

I've been thinking about starting my own online disc shop. Just something low key and small scale, nothing crazy. Mix of new and used discs.

I'm wondering what my best options are for handling payments. Paypal? I've never messed with anything like this but I think it would be fun.

PayPal and credit cards are the standards. Are you looking to use a pre-built template eCommerce site or building your own?

You might check with authorize.net. But paypal is probably the quickest and easiest way imo. I've got 4+ years in the credit card industry and I always tried to steer people away from our product to use paypal for ecommerce. Credit card processors will nickel and dime you to death if you don't meet their minimums. It may seem like your getting a deal but I promise you you're not.

eBay? $16.00 per month for a store with up to 150 listings. Of course, they ding you for anything they can, but it's easy.

Probably a combination of PayPal and Square. Square would be good for local sales using credit cards. I use Square for my mobile transactions for my business and it has worked out well for me.

I use Square when set up at the course, Very easy to use and low fees. I've been informed that Square is working on the ability to take C.C. on web sites. I hope by the first of the year.
