HOD 11/15/13: Pier Park in Portland, OR

Pier Park in Portland, OR

Course rating 4.35 with 73 reviews.

Hole #1 [Valley]
Pin Position A: 362 ft (3)
Pin Position B: 456 ft (3)

Tip By: JMONEY [Trusted Reviewer - Gold Level]
I throw RHBH and choose to throw a roller in either pin placements here, I avoid the low ceiling from tree branches and it gets me closer to the pin that has a uphill climb after the low ceiling.

Roller, Pro Leo RHBH -> Rhyno. Tough hole to park me thinks b/c of low ceiling and uphill approach.

RHBH Volt to fade into the clearing on the left.

From there it looks like a clear shot to the pin.

Tap in 3.

I would have to see this one in person to know for sure but I might try a big hyzer to the right of the first tree and try to get lucky. If that is not an option I would probably throw a teebird.

Low leopard, ridge approach ideally.

Couldn't play this hole due to a Cross Country meet.
