Weather is not a determining factor if I play but depending on the weather only certain friends will go to the course with me. I just throw on some Under Armour, long socks, a hat & a jacket and I'm good to play when its cold. Living in WI my entire life I don't mind snow or it being cold. That being said I'm planning on moving to Cali after college & disc golf in the winter there will be wonderful to me.

I don't think it can get cold enough to stop me.

Put 18 in today, was -4 F with -15 F windchill.

Under Armour head to toe with a heat pack in each glove. No problem.

One thing I noticed today is that your discs get really cold when you play a round in cold air. I guess i forgot about that from last winter. Blowing on hand warms up hand, but not disc.

Little to no wind, 30+ degrees, and sunny. If it's 2 out of the 3, I'm out playing. I've head some enjoy-full/comfortable days playing when it was only around 10 degrees but calm and sunny. The grounds solid, your dry since everything's frozen and you dont have to wipe mud or snow off your discs.

haha; yeah. i'll be playing tomorrow at kenwood. first round ever in REAL cold and snow. handwarmers will be used. i feel that the cold of the disc actually generates more tack because my hand is warm, but i don't know if that will hold true at 0-5 degrees.

As long as my hands are warm I don't care if the windchill is -15. I find it a challenge, and I love completing challenges. Must be because of all the GTA I played as a youth.

I thought so, too...then I got bored with it quickly. I just couldn't find any shots for the line it held.

High of 25 tomorrow...but I'll be out at 8am, when it will be more like 12-13. But it's Zobel, and Zobel is crazy fun.
