Eight is great but nine is fine!

At least 3 if not more backups of all molds I throw. Up to a bakers dozen on my QOLFs at the moment

I have 3 backup putters, 4 backup rocs and 1-2 of each other mold. I refuse to lose a disc and it takes forever for a disc to wear out enough to pull it out of the bag, so why do I need that many backups??

Depends.

With base plastic drivers I get nervous below 10, but that's because I throw gateway and innova. Batch buying vs oop searching. With my overstable premiums I like to have at least 5. Understables I can get away with just a few because I am not relying on long term stability.

That being said, I still fantasize about getting a stack of 100 identical wizards.

I usually only have one or two backups of discs in my bag. I do have a lot more Soft Banger GT's than anything else. For the most part, I hate seeing a pile of discs in my room not being used.

I'm starting to hoard PD's and FD's, and I have a good amount of rocs laying around as well. Those are so far the only things I'm pretty sure will always have a spot in the bag. Finding them in the preferred weight/color combo can be challenging.

I probably have 5 backup Nukes, 6-7 Wraiths, 6 Saints, 4 Firebirds, 10 Teebirds, 10 Rocs, 5 Roc 3s, 7-8 Pures, and about 20 Wizards. Those are the staples of my bag and I am slowly compiling more of each.

Wow, this guy sounds like the Buddha compared to you OCD types.

And I have multiples, among 3 bags scattered across 3 states---but I throw all of them. There's no Tim Tebows in my collection.

When I started out, I bougth at least 3-5 backups for every disc. I thougth that I will carry two of each during rounds and that I will lose lots of them.

Well, 5 years later, and I still have all those backup discs on the shelf. By now it is at a point that I am scared that they will have storage wear and tear, and there are still 3 of every one around -.- I wont buy any more new ones till I am down to just one backup per disc.
