[Innova] For the love of the Bird! ..Teebird that is!

Rip brinster birds

Looks like Steve is moving on to a diff tour disc. No idea if innova will keep making them.

I know these aren't that different than some production run birds but the first runs are some of my all time fave teebird said.

Anyone know what his new tour series disc is going to be?

Had to order one more Brinster bird after hearing about him moving on to a different disc. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the yellow one that arrived had just a tiny rise on the dome but was still pretty flat. At least noticeably flatter than my 2 other Brinsters and flatter than any of my JL's. Pretty excited to go out and throw it.

If there is any magic left in this universe, Brinster's next tour series will be a Sentinel3.

My best guess is that I probably have close to 75-90 Brinster teebirds spread out over all three runs.

My personal favorite is rapidly becoming the third runs. Just a tad flatter, a tick straighter, and break in just a bit quicker than the first runs. I was the guy who bought up most of the last reds that were put up and few of the blues too. Probably have about a dozen reds and a dozen blues, with a handful of clears and smokes too.

75-90?

I appreciate that but why so many?

How would you describe all three runs? I own some from all but have only been throwing first runs.

Sell me a couple pretty please?

I'm also a huge fan of the 3rds. At first I didn't like them because I thought they were too straight, but I'm in love now. They flat out bomb, and even tho they are straighter they still fade hard when they slow down.

My first thought was it was a little excessive as well. Then I thought hey to some people my 20 plus wizards are excessive. Everybody hoards what they can to some extent. 75-90 is quite a few Brinsters though. You should be set forever, or make a killing on the collector market now that they are oop.

I live in Connecticut, and I've known Steve for nearly a dozen years, so I wanted to support him as best I could. Bought a bunch of first runs, loved the feel, flight, and durability. Bought a ton to throw and bunch of collector colors/stamps. Bought a bunch of the second run USDGCs for the same reason. Then the third runs came out, so I got a ton of those too. Definitely set forever on teebirds for throwers.

Definitely hoping that as the KC Pro 11x market prices out a bunch of people, the third runs come into vogue for similar reasons. Great feel, flight, and durability ...

@ PbMercil ... which run do you like the most?

What's the difference between the three runs? I've only had to throw my first runs bc they last so long.

I know for sure that the FR is the beefiest. The third run is a little straighter before it fades (more like some of the beefier production JL Teebirds). I'm not sure though where the 2nd run is on the beef scale.

I caved and snagged 2 bringers and 3 champ teebird3 from the pro shop. I'm disced down for a good while this year. Teebirds and leopards is all I'm gonna carry.

Anyone here throw the teebird3 in champ?

just got 2 brinsters and 3 teebird3 from the proshop. ill be damned if they aren't identical all of them. same dome same plh. when i saw the flatness of the brinsters i was like oh that is flat. then the t3s were exactly the same.

But how do they fly compared to each other?
