[Innova] Dear Innova, the thing that will make you rich is:

Don't forget candy Pro like the old Firebirds...oh Innova:rolleyes:

I never buy from the factory store, and rarely buy new Innova, but if they made a run of candy pro Firebirds I'd buy all I could afford.

THIS!!!
flat top star xd!!!

I have an inked tourney star FD from a while no one seems to want.

I have an answer to this question : "innova, the thing that will make you rich is things that will alienate a large portion of the more serious (smallest market) golfers"

Amazing how many people posted about wanting blizzard plastic. I bought a blizzard destroyer a few years back and yeah, distance was great - as long as you didn't care which direction it floated off

Innova's first blizzard plastic was good. It had all the bubbles in the flight plate. Those discs were amazing fliers.

The newer stuff has all the bubbles in the rim, and is junk.

Frankly, I don't think blizzard plastic is that great.

I remember the old flight plate bubbles, and bubbles deeper in the rim. I think there were some Bosses and some Japan Open discs like that. I have some really nice looking stable Terns (stable for Terns) from that run somewhere.

IMO the GStarlite (which just seems to be lightweight and stamped GStar now) feels much better than rim bubble champion blizzard.

So now I have two ludicrously flippy destroyers in GStar that I dont know what to do with. Both feel great in hand.

For the love of god, hire a single graphic designer on staff and start producing some stamps that don't look like 1982. People are turning to other discs based on this stuff alone for sure. Spend $70K on graphic designer for one year and revamp every single stamp. Then people will A) have a reason to replace their tired old discs and B) you'll pick up some more of the crowd looking at this stuff. Instant returns.

but kids love the 80s.

People who care enough about their stamps to replace a performer in their bag will probably spend $30+ to get a custom stamp or dye.

IMO the only consistently awesome stock stamps are from Westside. To your point, they seem to use a single designer.

I disagree. There are plenty of us who collect or have to have the new one when released.
When I think constantly awesome I think immediately of Thought space. But Innova is 30 years behind anyone you name basically. LOL The worst. And I bag a few either way...

They need help. Badly. It's like spending money on a Buick at this point.

You would think focusing on producing high quality, durable, and consistent flying discs should be the priority for any manufacturer instead of catering to any collector market with "cool" stamps/pretty discs where the discs are never taken out of plastic bags or off of walls.

Innova's brand recognition is best and they are most often what beginners start playing with. They also have the biggest selection of stock molds/discs/plastics/weights and cover the majority of the thrower market's needs with strictly stock discs.

Innova should focus on making good flying & well molded stock runs to get 'richer' and maybe reformulating some plastic blends or glow brightness/availability or rolling out new stamps could be secondary aspects to focus on. They already invented pretty much every concept for disc shapes/profiles/plastics and other manufacturers have piggybacking on that to catch up after their patent ran out.

Gotta go with @CD here as I typically intend to throw the discs I purchase.

Not that I don't have a ridiculous collection of discs, but I prefer to be called a hoarder.
