Petition in support of disc golf at Pinto Lake in Watsonville, CA

I wish you had chosen a petition site that doesn't sign people up for moveon.org mailing lists.

Signed it and then unsubscribed. Took all of 10 seconds. As a native to the area, it would truly be a shame to lose Pinto considering all that was done to clean up the area. I wish you all the best of luck and hope to play the course sooner than later.

You can immediately unsubscribe at the bottom of the email they send you. Took my 10 seconds.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. Good luck, Pinto is indeed a fun course.

I'm well aware, but it irritates me to have to do that. I also don't trust that unsubscribe button to protect me from further use of my email by them in the future. I'll sign anyway, just not a fan of sites like that.

Yeah, I am not a fan too of when you unsubsribe and yet the same people keep sending emails. I think they just want users to "think" they are being removed. Time will tell I guess.

Putting the disc golf course in at Pinto has lead to countless volunteer hours dedicating to clearing poison oak, removing trash, etc., but the flipside is the course is too dangerous to non-disc golfers, half of the holes are using the pedestrian walkways as fairways, so anybody walking through the park has discs raining on them, this needs to be changed otherwise disc golf is pushing out other users of the park that like to walk, jog, cycle, etc.
