inthebasket may have already answered, but here are the profiles Anon asked for.

Pretty sure it's a valk, but anyone feel free to correct me!
Yea that definitely doesn't look like a Vulcan. They have such a noticeable shape I figured we could easily rule it out with a profile pic.

I'd agree with it being a Valk.

Proto First Run TL

Need some information on this disc I bought and was hoping to hear from some people that have been around when these came out:

I always thought First Run TLs only came out in the swoosh stamp (usually orange) and I have never seen a proto / first run. So, I kinda took a chance on this one because I like TLs and have never seen a proto before. Turns out, it is a TL and seems like candy CE plastic. I have measured (measuring tape and calipers), compared to other TLs, and compared against other disc close to the same on the PDGA approved disc specification list.

My question is what's the deal? Did they make proto TLs? How rare is this?

Any info would be greatly appreciated :hfive:

Says Westside. Nothing else known. Could take some measurements if that would help

What is this disc?

Innova Blizzard Champion

Says something about houston championship double 2015 on it.

Anyone able to tell which disc this is from the wing? I threw it a few times today and it doesnt seem crazy overstable.

There were early run TL's in some of the last CE plastic- the ones I had were done as CFR's for events. There were some in that color. The disc in the picture however has a stamp from a 2010 tournament which is about 7 years after that.

^thank you! BTW if my memory serves me correctly, you have the course in spotsylvania. My wife and I are moving to martinsville va in two months to start a mental health counseling practice. I was disappointed to find out that the two places weren't too close. Guess I'll play at baliou in Danville mostly but I must come up to see your course that I've heard so much about.

Just an FYI. There is a thread to post all unknown disc photos for identification purposes. If their are any markings around the nipple of the disc, that would help immensely.
Good luck!

Sorry i didnt know there was a area for identifying them.
The yellow disc just has 174 wrote on the nipple. The black disc cant see anything.

Black one looks like a Firebird.

The other one is a high speed driver, probably not understable. Looks like a speed 12 or faster.

this was found by a friend, no ink. the only ace race "winner" discs that i'm familiar with are super-color buzzz's, but this not a buzzz. it has a wider rim. and although it says "mid-range prototype", i can't imagine Discraft merely giving another ace race disc to the winner...
