Hey guys so the other day I sadly threw my beloved CryZtal nuke in a cove area on a hole 17, so I automatically stripped down and went looking for it. I found 2 champion vulcans and a dx wraith but not my nuke, so my brother decided to come in and help me look then he found a tye dye millenium astra. Somehow all are uninked, maybe it faded away because these looked like they have been in there for a while. All the Innova disc were also pre number days. So the next weekend I went back trying to find my nuke, sadly my journey got cut shortly because a gator came out and I didnt find anything. Any methods I could try in hopes of finding my nuke. The water is mostly neck height.

LOL! Man, I love Michigan! Worst we have is Mountain Lions and small Bears. Both scare off very easily. I'm not messing with any gators unless they're already deep fried!

You could always try a Golden Retriever, Discgator, or Hooker retrieval tool, but unless you just watched it go in and know exactly where it's at, that's damn near impossible.

I've always found that a tall walking stick to feel anything firm on the bottom and bare feet are the most successful way of finding any discs... I have, however, also been caught by a big snapping turtle that way! Not fun!

Yeah haha I didnt think there were gators in that part of the lake I was in, but my friends who were on the grass were like James you have to get out now. They didnt tell me why at the time because they thought i would freak out, so I was thinking it was probably just a snake and then I get out and see the gator. It was a small one but I wasnt taking any chances lol.

Yeah...um...gators aren't a common thing to me other than on TV. I think this qualifies for spending the $10-15, especially if you found some un-inked bonus plastic already without getting bit into a death roll.

Yeah haha I would but Discraft doesnt sell the nuke or any disc in CryZtal because its a special plastic only can get in events, although I probably could find one easily off ebay. So if you use a nuke what would you prefer the plastic I should get.

You could get a Discraft misprint premium pack. I got a 174 CryZtal Nuke among some other nice discs. But it's not guaranteed.

For finding a disc, have you tried a snorkel mask? Especially useful before stirring up the bottom of the water.

I've got a couple crocodiles at one of the courses around here.

I've got a few CryZtal Nukes. I never realized they were only released for special events... Huh... I spent a lot of time as a Discraft guy as a Michigander. Spent a lot of time at the factory and know several of the guys, never knew about this. Guess I'm sitting on some decent sellers!

Hahaha glad I live where the only waterborne nuisances I have to deal with are leeches and chiggers and the occasional pissed-off mama goose... I see snapping turtles all the time, but have never been bitten. It will probably happen someday, but whatever. I like getting my discs back hahaha.

If and when you order one of these, contact Discraft and see if they can put a Cryztal Nuke in as part of it. I've heard that they're pretty accommodating about that (caveat: I've personally never ordered one of these packs, so I'm passing along secondhand hearsay information...).

You can not request specific molds. You git what you git, and you don't have a fit. When I ordered mine, I put "max weights preferred" in the comments, and they only sent me a few discs that were not max weight. I ordered two Premium Z packs, doubling up might have played a factor in them accommodating my request.

Thats pretty sick man, I wish I had those kind of connections.

There are plenty of Cryztal Nukes out there.

Discraft has run a ton of them.

Otherwise just get a Z Nuke.

ESP's get flippy quick.

Don't forget the Swans, man! Jesus those are some mean ass birds!

Wow. eBay's going SUPER cheap on 'em!

Luckily, mine are CFR CryZtal with a laser etched Tourney logos instead of foil hot-stamping. Pretty cool unique stuff.
