Well, I lost my understable driving putter this weekend (a Champion Dart), but I wasn't very fond of it anyway. :p So.. anyone happen to have any suggestions for a (drive and approach only) understable putter that will turn and hold that turn forever? :) I have a Super Stingray for that slot for my midrange, if it helps any. Thanks!

Summit. Nice and low profile.

Zero pure will turn more with power, but it's more in that neutral/understable category imo.

Classic aviar? Low profile? Say whaaaaa

Wedge if you want it understable
Lat64 Spike is a nice shallow neutral putter, will hold a nice annie.

Grab you a Mirage! I use mine in the mid/approaching slot mostly and it is Amazing! Very versatile disc, check it here:

This disc is super shallow too and the V-Tech rim feels sooo good in the hand.

I concur with the suggestion of the Mirage. Definitely understable, glides forever at less than full power, and actually is midrange-level in distance though advertised as a putt & approach disc.

The production DX Colt is pretty understable, and the Star Colt is stable/understable.

Another suggestion is a Fluid Warden, if you like the plastic. The Lucid Judge and Opto Pure (Lucid=Opto, same plastic) will season in over time to become stable/understable putters, though fresh out of the box they are more stable/overstable...

Gateway Shaman. Nice slow turn all the way to the ground.

I agree completely. The shaman has a very slow and gentle turn out of the hand and never really fights out of it. It is also great for dead straight approaches when powered down or released on a slight hyzer. Paired with a chief and you have the perfect lowprofile driving putter combo that comes in baseline plastic.

Then you can putt with wizards and all will be right in the disc golfing universe.

Original Swan or Swan (1) Reborn. A little less stable than the Swan 2. Beautiful left to right flight (RHBH) without turning into a roller.

I would say Swan (they are great understable putters), except I think a Summit is better in every way. I used mine for short straight drives, understable drives ending to the right, and it even does good overhands.

I threw all of my Vibram stuff in the extra bin except my summits. Nice to have an indestructible putter sometimes.
