Fairway slopes gently upwards halfway and then downwards to the basket and the rough is not as bad as it might seem near the pin. There is an alternate 18th hole that plays from the top of the hill near the lake to the practice basket.
Shorter hole that plays downhill, very easy to overshoot. Watch for the creek that lines the left side of the fairway all the way to the basket. Once you hole out you'll need to cross over it at the culvert and take the path on the left about 400' to the next tee. WARNING Poison Ivy is in the rough near the culvert.
Tee pad was moved about 50 feet to the right (closer to driveway now) to increase the difficulty. Look out for the people near the course map and port-a-johns on the right side of the fairway.
The overhead power-lines might come into play on the tommy and thumber shots. The fairwat cuts to the right for the remaining 75 feet to the pin on a slight upslope. Fast green so watch the skip shots and roll-aways.
What appears as a short and easy hole is very deceptive. Swamps are deep and also on the left side halfway down the fairway. Look out for the small hills, sink hole and the skips and rollers on the fast approaches.
You can send a RHBH power hyzer out into the open on the left to leave you a chance at seeing the basket on top of a small ridge. Beware of roll-aways and overshooting the basket with the downward-sloping rough close by.
Fairway has a few trees to work around. BEWARE of going deep and past the basket! The river is ONLY about 10' or so past the basket with a few small logs along the banks to stop roll-aways.
