Picking either side of the fairway is fine, but right side is generally easier than left and a better shot at birdie.

Hit the fairway. The rough on either side is extremely dense and almost guarantees a bogey.

Don't overshoot the pin. The original pin was set further back, but is usually under about three inches of water at any time.

If you want a birdie you'll have to carry the ditch. If you miss on the left, your second will still be pretty open. If you miss on the right you'll have a difficult pitch out from the dense patch of trees in the much deeper part of the ditch.

Depending on your throwing style you'll have to pick your side. I find the right side is a bit more open, and if you clear the brush in the middle - even a hard shot will get stopped by the trees behind the pin.

Draw the disc to the right as far as possible if you want a clear shot for your second. The left side is a series of pitch outs and blind shots.

The crosswinds tend to pick up over the lake, so make sure if you hang it out there - your disc has enough fade to bring it back. I've lost a lot of discs on this hole trying to stay to the right of the trees and the wind pushes it. The police will yell at you if they see you swimming.

Keep it right, keep it right, keep it right. The slight fade at the end will open a real chance for birdie. There is a lot of low foliage if you draw it left too early.

Hit the second opening - not the first! The shorter first open on the left leave you with a blind approach through the trees. The second open is the path to the basket and a shot at birdie.

Try your best to settle you disc just past the row of trees on the left side of the fairway. The further left and past these trees you are - the easier your approach will be. If you're super long and stright off the tee, then just rip it, and the pin is just past the main thicket of trees on the middle left.
