In the far position on the right (pic is in far position), it's easier to birdie by throwing a hyzer just to the right of the stone abutment on the far side of the river (behind hole 2's teepad). The ground there is nice and hard so you can get a good skip to the pin. Also, the pin is to the right and up in the trees a bit. Many first time players end up shooting straight ahead to hole 18 or to the left to hole 11.
