I usually go straight up the gut with an Axis; maybe a stable Roc if it's windy. Once you clear the treeline, the wind seems to pick up; I've seen more than a few people look like they've thrown clean shots to the green only to flip over once the wind hits.

Some people will play an S-curve hugging the trees on the left.

On rare occasions I've seen people throw a tomahawk over the trees on the right.
