Free disc fun.. MVP distance driver xmas giveaway

know a few players that really dig the mvp brand but I only have experience with discraft, innova, & lightning; happy to pay shipping; disregard entry if these particular discs are fat rimmed like a boss/katana, i'm much more comfortable with rims like a valkyrie or avenger Blessed is the hand...

    Help with disc selection

What kinda distance are you getting with the beast? If usually less than 300, might consider a leopard, t-bird, or cyclone.

multiple pins - is that not OK?

When people play together, they want to play the same game, e.g. getting their disc in the same basket on the same hole. Handicapping for different skill levels is best accomplished by spotting strokes or varying tee off distances, just like in ball golf from which disc golf attempts to emulate...

    Grip focus sweet spot

I vary my pinch in proportion to my arm speed up to the hit. During the reach back all is very relaxed and I'm barely holding the disc. As the pull begins speeding up so too does the grip pressure. If it's a max d type throw then my arm is moving as fast as it can and I'm gripping as tight as...

    Putting Styles Illustrated

Let's not forget the butterfly putt - similar to a scooby turbo except instead of spinning, the disc is flipped end over end fluttering into the bassket like a butterfly.

    Overstable midranges

Never threw a hornet but love my flx drone, very controllable and reliable, great for blind birdies around a corner, haven't encountered a wind it can't grind through, it replaced my gator. Drone isn't very long nor fast but works great, one of my all time favs.

Throwing Straight (Overstable vs Understable Q)??

"Sidewinder - I have a friend who uses this disc as an approach disc. It is great to hone your budding long distance skills. It is also a great disc to learn sidearm on because it has a nice over-stability / fade to it that is predictable every time. There are always those shots that you want...

Beware the man that has a lid in the bag...

I used a super puppy in mid 80s to early 90s. After a hiatus from disc golf from 91 to 96 and loss of my golf discs, I was unable to get another puppy and bought a polecat. The polecat was ok, flying alot like the puppy, but I never liked the flatter transition from edge to top. Then I...
