Two cases shows how rare something is...your testament to there being multiple people who've been world #1 is indicative of exaggeration. Furthermore the two examples you provided weren't even players who had finished the year as #1, they had it for a few weeks. You went on to say that some...
Multiple cases? Two cases...on the men's side...and kiinda two more. That being said IT IS incredibly difficult and extremely rare to be World #1 and not win a major. Women's tennis is a different animal and doesn't have a place being compared to men's stats. There are no cases in which someone...
Not true.
There was at least a 9 month overlap from when DD began production of discs before McBeth signed his four year Innova deal in September of 2013.
Nobody is saying McBeth threw DD plastic....that's not being debated here. The whole point is that he was still under contract with DD when discs were approved and manufactured. I know this because I have video of him that CCDG and I filmed at the 2013 Masters Cup wearing a DD shirt.
Jeez....not like I've been playing/following the game since 1994 or anything.
Just an FYI tho...the DD escape was approved in 2012....that's while McBeth was still sponsored by DD. If memory serves PMCB signed his big four year deal with Innova in late 2013 which then precluded him...
Sure Ricky was sponsored by DD....nobody's debating that. Paul was at one point sponsored by DD but didn't thrown their plastic. Not sure why you worried Ricky in a Paul thread tho :wall:
9 years as a De La local and I can honestly say I've only birdied I5 four times out of the 1000+ rounds played there.
Back in 2007 I hit an ace on hole 22 (actual layout not Master Cup layout) and I was still more amazed that I got the birdie 2 on I5 that same day.
Have to agree with you on this 100%. Was at Indian Wells this week and I can say that everyone quiets down or is told to by the chair umpire prior to playing a point.
I filmed Catrina at the Masters Cup in 2013...I was behind the basket she was on the tee for hole 300' away. She asked me to move....I thought it was a bit ridiculous given how far away I was and not in direct line with the basket but I moved.
