Review by conch cruiser in course Watson Island DGC

4.00 star(s) Come a long way A lot of shots are required to play this technical course. Shot placement is critical because the course is surrounded by water. Good variety of hole lengths and difficulty. Not much for elevation change on the course. Just need tee signs to make it an awesome course.

HOD 6/30/14: Watson Island DGC in Grand Junction, CO

In the photo the pin is in B position. The sidewalk in the photo curves to the left because a ditch on the right also curves to the left. This is a fairly long hole with water on the right that curves into the fairway making it pretty tight if you try and bomb it.

[Legacy] Legacy's 6th release the RIVAL, its coming

Would this be the Ace race disc? Is this the disc you would recieve if you did an Ace race tourney with Legacy Discs? Or would it be the Ghost?

    [Gateway] Wizard Purchase

The Element and the Karma are a great midrange combo from Gateway.

The demon is one of the best overstable mids. I like it better than a gator or a drone. It is a true get out of trouble disc, try one.

Chaulky is my favorite blend for putting, firm but grippy. Samurai in E plastic is not flippy.

    [Gateway] RF and RF2 Wizards

I have touched 10. Will be great in the winter. Think I like the cheesy orange better for summer.

[Gateway] Help make a better Wizard

I would say that if the intent is to make a driving putter, durability would be the number one priority. Who wants a driver that turns understable in a few hits?

    [Gateway] Gateway Element-X is back

Unless I am carefull about getting enough spin on the Element; it will turn and burn, sidearm. But the Karma is effortless to control sidearm, just crank and go. But backhand; the Element is better for me also, and the Mystic is a hyser-flip butter machine.

My version of the Grip Eq bag

It is 1/2 pipe, 8- slip joint 3way connectors,6- slip joint tees, 2- street 90 elbows, and 10' of pvc. The pvc is flexible enough to bend and make up for the taper, because the corners end up being less than 90 degrees with the taper.

My version of the Grip Eq bag

It is pretty straight foward. The internal frame is the same on the bottom half as the demensions previously stated. It just tapers toward the top. Build the bottom frame 9 3/4" tall, 13 1/2 wide, 6 1/2 deep but put 3 way connectors on top. Connect front to back with tee and very short...

    [Gateway] Gateway Element-X is back

For 280'-320' the Karma is dead on for me sidearm. Way more predicable for me than the Scout. I don't understand how they got so much glide into a disc that is stable. It penetrates forward even as it is turning.
