    [Innova] zephyr

I live in Michigan, and the Zephyr is the best winter disc out there. It is so slow and deep that I have played rounds in almost knee deep snow, and never had to search for it. It is the roc/buzzz of the Superclass world for a reason. Superclass is lots of fun, it makes the game about skill...

    best overhand plastic?

i am using a 12x champ firebird currently. held a z flick and an opto xxx at the shop this week, but didnt pull the trigger on either. put those 3 discs up against each other for pure distance, who wins?

    best overhand plastic?

i have a champ firebird that i am using for overhand duties, but the color of it makes it hard to find in the woods, so i want to replace it for that reason. should i get another champ, or is star better? and to match the title of the thread, in your opinion, what is the best plastic for...

    rip/r.i.p. disc golf putters?

i have thrown the graboid. i only took it out once, and it was windy mind you, but...i didn't like it at all. it is crazy stable, and expected with that beadzilla on it. it is tooooo grippy. comes out of your hand weird, and didn't go very far at all. it may pass as a short overstable...

    Best Disc for Kids

the wedge. That is the whole reason innova made that disc. It is called that because it is going to be the disc for the edge program, their beginner program. they also make 130g polecats for that. the wedge is understable, and has a tiny lip, for tiny hands.

    Putters with the most glide

Another vote for the aero. I also stopped using mine because it had too much glide. It would just float right on by the basket, just as slow as you can imagine. Slow, straight, and floaty.

    New Back Up Putter: Sidewinder????

finally, some XD love on this site! i dig mine, and use it because i used to putt with drivers, and wanted something less squirrelly. they are cheap, try it. i may even use it on a one disc tourney this weekend at a short course.

    [Innova] Polecat

the new ones are super grippy. Pro feel, dx price. since innova doesnt make the apple anymore, you can use a PC. seriously though, comfy little disc.

    [Other] 150 class RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey 150 lovers, i just bought a 150 firebird based on this thread. i didnt want it too flippy out of the box, so i got the most overstable one i could find. what should i expect? if anything it seems like a fun way to shake things up a little.

    most popular dga discs

i carry a powerdrive gumbputt. Flies really straight if you dont overpower it. Think of it as a midrange blowfly. Invaluble on hilly shots, stops instantly. you can be very agressive without worry on any shot. best grip available in rain and snow too.

    Putter for driving

my vote is for the pig. Starts out really stable, so you dont have to worry about it turning over accidently. It breaks in to be pretty straight without turning still. You can sidearm it comfortably too. Esp banger would work great too, a little more versitile.

i will give a shout out to west michigan. i spent most of my time at JC park. i play in a league thursday nights ran by the owner of Spinskis, on his private course by Wayland. i work wednesdays or i would join the dogs. Tom, one of the guys i throw with on thursdays has a dogs of disc tatoo...

    Approach Discs

i have been using the dga gumputt powerdrive. it is basically a mid version of the blowfly. flight is really neutral, straight as a arrow if you want. you can be very aggressive without worrying about rollaways or long deflections. and it isnt in that crappy blowfly color.

    hold the syrup

i like to throw a low overhead shot that pancakes and scoots along the ground on the face straight up to the basket. anybody got any fun, specialty, get out of trouble shots like this that they use?
